The Barnhisel House & Museum School Tours, 2016

Each year, The Barnhisel House & Museum is host to many bus loads of area fourth graders, who come to us for a fun-filled day of learning. The children get a hands on tour of the house, as well as several exhibits on the grounds of the house. We are thankful for everyone who helps make this happen each year. We are looking forward to the 2016 School Tour season.

Fourth Grade School Tours 2015

In September of each year, the Barnhisel House & Museum transforms into a living history lesson  for area fourth graders. The students have the privaledge of touring the Greek Revival home, as they also experience life in the 1800s. Members of the Girard Historical Society,  as well as a few other guests spend a week with the inquisitive fourth graders. We look forward to these tours each year.
